A TCC file extension is an acronym for TimeCalc Classic, a proprietary source code data file used with TimeCalc Classic application software, designed and developed by ProSystems, Inc. TCC files store data relative to time tracking for individuals and tasks, including payroll hours, task time to complete, task and labor division, timecard activity, and employee identification information. The file is used with TimeCalc Classic, a proprietary software program, and as such the data in the file can only be opened, viewed, and edited using their exclusive software. TCC files and the TimeCalc Classic application are only supported in Microsoft Windows operating systems. The software is used primarily by small businesses and human resource departments for tracking work hours and payroll dispersements. There is one other file type that uses this extension.
