How To Open PPS Files
DESCRIPTION:
A PPS file is used to save elements of a PowerPoint slide shows such as movies, images, sound effects, transitions, formatted text, bullet points, headings, etcetera that are created for presentations. If you are having a problem opening a PPS file for editing, it may be because these files are meant only for viewing a slide show with Microsoft’s PowerPoint or PowerPoint Viewer software. They are not edible files like a PPT file or other editable format. PPS files are used for saving slide shows created on PowerPoint 2003 or earlier. If you are using the 2007 version or newer, your presentation will be saved using a PPSX file extension, which is an Open XML format that is able to be viewed or edited, rather than in a PPS file format.Recommended Software
