How To Open ICB Files

DESCRIPTION:

An ICB file extension is an acronym for Image Capture Board, a file type created to store graphic image data about the EPICenter Image Capture Board. EPICenter was a spin-off of AT&T, and later sold to Truevision. ICB format was used as a part of the ICB-Paint and Targa-Paint graphics editing programs, the original applications created for the image capture card, where the image file data was contained in one format (usually vda or tga), and the data related to the image capture board and its operation were contained in the ICB file. The ICB file type was simplified and its use broadened to allow for acceptance by other image capture board manufacturers later on, while Truevision took off to develop its own line of image capture boards.
