How To Open IA Files

DESCRIPTION:

An IA file extension is an uncompressed, raw image file used by digital camera backs to store digital images in Sinar Photgraphy cameras. IA files contain all of the information about the image stored at the time it was taken, but because the file is raw, the hue, color, brightness, balance, and tint, among other picture properties, remain unadjusted, and it must be processed and converted by proprietary software from Sinar called eXposure before it can be edited, opened, or viewed in a standard format such as JPEG or TIFF. Sinar digital camera backs store IA format files used by professional photographers because they are larger in size and preserve more of the details from an image than those edited and saved in lossy formats.
