How To Open GCD Files

DESCRIPTION:

A GCD file extension is an acronym for Global CD, an image format file used by Prassi Global CD, an older compact disk burning software application that was distributed professionally with some CD burners. Prassi licensed and then eventually sold the product. Prassi was purchased by Veritas, a company who is no longer in existence, so Global CD is no longer distributed or supported, meaning the GCD file type is not supported. Files of this type can still be used with some third party software manufacturer’s applications however. A similar file type, with a GI file extension, was used with DVD images and burner programs. There are four other file types that use the GCD file extension, so users should ensure that the application matches the file type before trying to open this type of file.

Our developers have not yet tested any applications to open this particular type of file. We recommend that you try one of the applications listed below to open your file. We are always testing more applications, so please check back.
