How To Open CHM Files
DESCRIPTION:
The CHM file is an online help format that replaced Microsoft’s WinHelp format. It was first released on Window 98 and is supported by Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. CHM files, also known as Compiled Help Modules, or as Compiled HTML Help Files include HTML documents and other information such as text, images, and hyperlinks that are compressed into a single file. These files may include other significant features for guiding a user through a web page such as a table of contents for the page, an index of keywords, and full-text search functionality. If you are having trouble opening a CHM file you may need to try one of the CHM editor software programs; though, they are occasionally able to be opened using a web browser.Recommended Software
